Mill Description
The mill is located west of the church that is opposite of the riverbank. The surviving buildings of the mill include the watertower and the aqueduct. The aqueduct is preserved in a length of about 7m, with an internal width of 70cm. It is built of limestone and river pebbles (tsiakkiles). The interior of the chute as well as its parapets are coated with hydraulic plaster. The watertower has a depth of 280cm and has one tier on its wall facing the river. Its masonry consists of limestone and river pebbles. In 1875 it was mentioned as a flour mill and its owner was Hj Ali Effendi Ahmed Agha. In 1950 it was transferred to Ahmet Koutchouk Hussein, Bahire and Shayie and Nadjie, Refia and Moustade Haji Ali Eff, Behaeddin Ahmed Eff, Rouchie and Mehrave Behaeddin, Moustafa Hajim Behaeddin, Ali Rija and Mehmed Behaeddin. In 1950 it was transferred to Emine Osman. Pitta & A. Theodosiou
